I feel like I'm a bit more old school when it comes to the majority of my music tastes so maybe that's why I grew instantly fond of this band. This album definitely has an 80's vibe going on & a little ELO (aka one of the best bands ever!) thrown in. Overall, it's tunes with a groove.

Lovely Vintage Lady: Ginger Rogers

Nothing like watching an old classic movie during a relaxing weekend :) A favorite of mine happens to be "Swing Time" starring Ms. Rogers and Fred Astaire.

Weekend chocolate fix

Thanks to the wonderful Family Kitchen blog for this one! I happened to come across this recipe by accident & considered it a godsend - I still have a half full jar of Nutella I needa put to good use and I'm thinking I'm definitely going to give this a try this weekend :)

Why branding is awesome...

Just an example of what I think is one the most beautiful & successful re-branding ever done! I was pleasantly surprised when I first saw the new look of my favorite soy milk revealed on the shelf of my grocery store. It's new look is minimal and still playful looking. Who would pass up this little carton of delightfulness?
